waste

From May 8 - 11, 2011, Waste - The Social Context 2011 conference brought together researchers and practitioners from a wide variety of disciplines from around the world to discuss the social aspects of wastewater and waste management.

The event was a unique opportunity for delegates to meet and to present research in a variety of disciplines contributing to innovative solutions in sustainable waste management.

This conference was held at Grant MacEwan University's Robbins Health Learning Centre - an efficient, bright, modern, and environmentally friendly venue.

Delegates included government officials and regulators, urban planners, corporate managers, social scientists, engineers, students, educators, and consultants.

The conference could not have delivered without the generous support of our sponsors and the positive and friendly volunteers. We invite you to click on the links below to learn more about each of them.

In an attempt to remain a sustainable event, the Conference Proceedings have been posted here, instead of copied to CD and distributed to the delegates. The presentations on here are the intellectual property of the author and no use or reproduction of the presentations is allowed without the express written consent of the author.
